Hard to believe we've been at this for a month

It's Week 4 at home. While we're still taking it day by day and week by week, it's hard to believe we've been at this for more than a month! By now, many of us are going bananas in isolation and may be feeling helpless with all that's going on in our community, country and abroad. Remember that we're fundamentally social creatures and it's important for us to stay connected during times like these. Below are a couple suggestions.

- Think about the fact that you’ve been given the gift of time and place. Sure, there’s a lot that’s out of your control, but you have more control over your time and your immediate environment. In many respects, the pace of life has slowed down. Be selfish with this newly found time. Spend it with the people with whom you are close — at home or virtually. Reach out to lapsed friends or family.

- Take breaks regularly and use them as times to reach out to friends and colleagues. Consider a standing appointment with one of your close friends to catch up on the phone or better yet meet for a walk (taking social distancing into account). Practice the art of conversation.

Meanwhile, we're still open for business and supporting filings in DE, WA and CA with our online platform. There's a discounted filing fee for early users. Counter service for both WA and CA remains suspended, which will impact filing times. Whatever you do, we'll keep you informed and help facilitate actions like e-signatures.
